Not just your agent here — I'm your neighbor.
I've called Painted Prairie home for 6 years, and honestly, it's one of those places that's hard to fully describe until you experience it yourself. There's something special happening here, and I don't say that lightly.
This is a community where people actually know each other. Impromptu happy hours pop up on front porches, movies and music in the park draw the whole neighborhood out on summer evenings, and events like Harvest Fest and the farmers market have become traditions people genuinely look forward to. It's the kind of place where you move in as a stranger and somehow feel at home before the boxes are even unpacked.
Painted Prairie is made up of all kinds of people, from all different backgrounds Painted Prairie — young professionals, growing families, empty nesters, longtime Coloradans, and people who just found their way here from somewhere else entirely. That mix is real, and it's one of my favorite things about living here. It shows up in the neighborhood events, in the conversations on the trail, and in the genuine sense that everyone belongs.
The parks alone are worth writing home about. Miles of scenic paved and rugged trails connect the entire community, complete with bridges, parks, playgrounds, and picnic areas. The nature-inspired playgrounds are unlike anything you'll find in a typical suburb.
Convenience is another thing Painted Prairie gets right. The Gaylord Rockies Resort is within walking distance — and residents enjoy perks like free parking and access to incredible dining and spa options right in the neighborhood. Costco and an upcoming Target are just minutes away, and the area continues to grow with new amenities on the way. A Town Center is planned with 55 acres of experiences, including workspaces, shopping, dining, and more — making this already-connected community even more walkable in the future.
Painted Prairie has received recognition as the National Community of the Year by the National Association of Home Builders in 2022.
Homes range from townhomes to larger single-family homes across multiple builders and price points, making it one of the more accessible entry points into the Denver Metro market without sacrificing on community or quality of life.
If you want to know what it's really like to live here — I'm happy to be a resource for you.
